The third-generation iPad, released in March, was advertised as having 4G connection capabilities, using the phrase iPad “Wi-Fi + 4G” in its online store. But some international iPad owners say the claim of 4G connectivity for all is misleading because the device can only connect to 4G LTE networks in the U.S. In response to complaints from Australian and British users, Apple is offering refunds. To prevent future purchasing mistakes, Apple has changed the description in its online store to the more encompassing “Wi-Fi + Cellular.”
